BELEN ART SHOW INSTRUCTIONS


WHO MAY ENTER: Open to all artists. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Saturday, May 9, 2026
ENTRY FEE: $15.00.
Art League members may enter 5 pieces for $15.00
​Non members may enter 3 pieces for $15.00
Additional entry pieces @ $5 each.
Pieces do not have to be in the same medium.
Limit of 5 pieces in any one medium.
LOCATION: The BAL art show will be held at 513 Becker Ave in the Red Brick Building
CHECK IN PROCESS: All pieces will be checked for appropriate hangers, cleanliness, mars or scratches before being accepted.
All pieces will be checked in and signed off as delivered by the artist.
If you are unable to bring in your work during those hours, please let us know by calling 505-463-3688 to make other arrangements.
ART TAGS: these will be made as you turn in your entry forms. Last minute changes will not be accepted. Needed for art tags: title of piece, medium and price.
WEDNESDAY MAY 13: Bring art to Red Brick Building between noon and 2:00.
THURSDAY MAY 14: Art will be hung and arranged for display.
FRIDAY MAY 15: Judging of art.
SATURDAY MAY 16: Opening reception 1:00 to 4:00
SATURDAY MAY 30: Show ends at 5:00 PM.
MONDAY JUNE 1: Art taken to gallery starting at 11:00 AM. Or may be picked up by artist if not being hung at gallery. Old art in gallery to be taken home if it’s been there for over five months.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR
Check in on Wednesday May 13.
Hanging on Thursday May 14.
Bring food for reception.
Help set up and clean up reception.
Help to hang new art in gallery on Monday June 1.
